How Sharp Do You Want to Be?

Iron sharpens iron, so a person sharps another.

Chew on that profound phrase for a minute.


Here are a few of the many forms “iron” can take in your life and your business… more importantly, here’s how YOU can hone your edge and sharpen up!

Your tribe. You are who you surround yourself with. To better yourself, you must be surrounded by high-achievers who you aspire to be like. Hang with fire-breathing dragons and follow thought-leaders in the industry to stay sharp. If the 5 people you spend most of your time with are not playing at your level, it’s time to find replacements.

Your environment. Big ideas come from environments conducive to big thinking. Audit your environment and make sure it meets your needs and inspires your imagination.   

Your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words, your words become your flesh, your flesh become your actions, your actions become your character, and your character becomes your legacy. If you fill your brain with positive thoughts — this can be through podcasts, music, lectures, books, self-talk, live events, etc. — positivity is what you will speak, spread, AND symbolize.

Your fuel. I’m talking food, fitness, and feedback. Fill up on high-quality foods, give extra effort in your workouts, and constantly crave feedback. All of these things will strengthen AND sharpen you.

So, how “sharp” do YOU want to be?? 

Pick your people carefully, play in a world-class environment, take note of your thoughts, and fill up on rocket fuel. 

Stay sharp, my friends. After all, iron sharpens iron.

"YOU HAVE TO SLOW DOWN IN ORDER TO SPEED UP." Before anything BIG happens, you have to SLOW-DOWN. You gotta plan for what you want, strategize what you will do, and take ACTION for what you will know will change LIVES.  That being said, I am taking 11 days off. It's time to disconnect so I can reconnect. 


It's fall and when the cooler weather decides to join us, it will finally be CHILI Weather. 

Go to the Foodie Friday post on the Karina Cross Fitness page on Facebook for a basic recipe courtesy of the blog site "Eat Yourself Skinny" followed by some great tips for adding flavor and sneaking in extra nutritional value.



Wear a costume to the studio between 28 & 31 Oct and we will take your picture. All members in costume will be then posted to an album on Karina Cross Fitness page on Facebook. Winners will be determinate based on the number of "likes" they receive on Facebook and the numbers of votes at Karina Cross Fitness Studio.

The only catch: You MUST Do the workout in your costume🎃

***The Winner will be announced on Monday, November 4th.***

Any Karina Cross Fitness member who works out in costume will receive a certificate for a FREE Smoothie from Good to Go located at Pivotal Fitness.
